The Slate Digital Virtual Tube Collection (VTC) is a tribute to the classic vintage tube circuits, encapsulated into three distinctive plugins for the Virtual Mix Rack. Each module is versatile, serving as a preamp, a saturator, and a virtual tube summing console, making it a valuable asset for adding color, warmth, and a vintage vibe to your mixes and masters. Users of VMS can also pair VTC preamps with microphone models to achieve a rich and vibey tone on their tracks.

Modules Descriptions

The VTC comprises three meticulously crafted modules, each with a unique sonic signature:

• London: Inspired by European vintage tube circuits, London offers a big, warm sound particularly in the lows and low mids, with a slight smoothness in the high end. It excels in fattening up tracks in preamp mode, thickening sounds with preamp saturation, and adding a fat analog body to the whole mix in console mode.
• New York: A blend of vintage tube and New York solid-state discrete circuits, New York exhibits an aggressive mid-range and tight lows due to its dynamic harmonic saturation. It's adept at adding focus and punch to tracks, and versatile across genres when used on the master fader in console mode.
• Hollywood: The most colorful module, Hollywood, boasts a beautiful airiness, depth, and a substantial low end. It’s particularly effective in boost mode to invigorate tracks and pairs well with vintage VMS mics for added top-end flavor and warm lows. In console mode, it can transform a dull mix into something vibrant and full-bodied.

Compatible with MAC OS X macOS 10.15 or later and Windows 10 or 11, the VTC requires a memory of 4 GB and supports plugin formats VST-2, VST-3, AU, AAX. It is compatible with both Intel or Apple Silicon (M1) Processor for MAC and Intel or AMD Processor for Windows.
