Genelec’s 9401A System Management Device

Genelec has taken a significant step in advancing audio monitoring technology with the introduction of the 9401A System Management Device. This device is a key addition to the UNIO Audio Monitoring Service Platform, offering robust AoIP connectivity for Genelec’s Smart Active Monitors and Subwoofers.

Seamless Integration and System Scalability

The 9401A bridges the gap between traditional audio systems and networked solutions, providing 16 channels of digital connectivity through AES/EBU. It is designed to work in harmony with Genelec’s GLM software, allowing for meticulous system calibration, including subwoofer alignment and bass management. The scalability of the system is evident in its ability to support subwoofer-enhanced systems up to 9.1.6 and to extend the channel count with additional units.

Genelec introduces tactile control to the monitoring system with the 9320A Reference Controller. This new device ensures that users can manage their monitoring system with ease and precision.
