The SCM20ASL Pro from ATC is a professional active 2-way studio reference monitor, suited well to smaller studios or nearfield use in larger studios. This monitor features the same ATC-built woofer and tweeter as the SCM20PSL speakers. However, alongside the ferro fluid free 25mm (1") tweeter, the SCM20ASL Pro boasts a 150mm (6") bass cone and a grated 75mm (3") Soft Dome for an improved mid range.
The SCM20ASL Pro is driven by a bi-amp pack. This consists of a 250w amp for the bass and mid range and 50w amp powering the top end, providing full power across the frequency range, low distortion levels and high linear response. Furthermore, the LF settings on the back panel of the monitors allow for a five-step adjustment. As such, The SCM20ASL Pro provides such clarity and range that means they are found in some of the top studios world-wide.
