Following the latest news from the Government, we'll be adjusting how we operate on a day to day basis.

We'll be available on email, phone and social media to discuss studio related stuff but our office will be closing to the general public.

We will continue to send goods out and process orders whilst our suppliers and couriers are still operating. There will be delays in shipments but we'll do our best to keep you up to date on any news we get and informed of what is going on.

This will be a tough time for a lot of people and are very aware of the number of our customers and clients who will be struggling with this with gigs and tours being cancelled and the uncertainty of work for the rest of the year.

Never a company to sit still, Native Instruments have just announced their latest update to Komplete.

The new versions bring Komplete up to date with some of the latest instrument additions, plus there's a new previously unreleased addition.

For users of Komplete, they've added REAKTOR 6, UNA CORDA, INDIA, REPLIKA, STRUMMED ACOUSTIC, KINETIC METAL and Ultimate get FLESH, EMOTIVE STRINGS, REPLIKA XT in addition to the above.

Both packages also see a new instrument: FORM. This looks to be an interesting sample based synthesiser.

Due to ship in September upgrades are available for existing users or new users can purchase Komplete 11 Select for £149, Komplete 11 for £469, or Komplete 11 Ultimate for £929.

We'll have them on demo as soon as they ship. and are taking pre orders now!

We're very proud to announce a major update to our site. We've done some major upgrades on our servers which are now running faster than ever and the new design now scales for mobile and tablet browsing. We've made quite a few other changes here and there which should make everything a bit easier to find and we've plenty more planned over the up and coming months.

It's that time of year again when you've got to spend time in pubs with part time drinkers, wear stupid jumpers and avoid the romantic advances of your co-workers... No, it's not the world cup come early, it's Christmas!

We'll be off from this coming Friday, 19th, until Monday 5th January, taking some much needed rest and recuperation.

We've plenty planned for 2015, with new gear on demonstration, plenty more news and offers, and events all based on keeping you up to date with what's going on in the world of Audio Production. We'll be holding more events and workshops, too, so stay safe and have a good Christmas break :)

We've had a bit of a busy May up here at Giraffe Audio. We've managed to add several new brands to our website, including Waves, Earthworks and Telefunken... We've still a lot of new products to get listed over the next few weeks which will keep us busy again...

Monday 31st March

We will be joined by Audient. They will be bringing their new ASP880 microphone preamplifer along and will be showing that off with their iD22 interface.

Tuesday 1st April

Source Distribution will have with them a range from the brands they represent, including Universal Audio, API, Moog and Lynx Audio. Alongside them, we will have Ableton in, showing how their production and creative composition software, Live, integrates with the latest hardware controllers and synthesisers including Ableton Push. Nova will also be with us for the day with outboard from Lindell and Warm Audio and some of their Eve studio reference monitors.

Wednesday 2nd April

We will be host to Avid and Synthax. They will be demonstrating the Pro Tools 11 Native with RME interfaces for multi-channel audio solutions, including MADI systems for recording and broadcast applications.

Thursday 3rd April

We are presenting the Midlands launch for Bitwig Studio

- the much anticipated, cutting edge, digital audio workstation software. They will be here with Nektar Tech, showing some of their latest production controllers and how these integrate into modern production workflows. We will also be joined by Soulsby Synthesizers, who will be on hand to show you around their new Atmegatron 8bit synth.

Friday 4th April

We round off the week with Sonic Distribution, who carry the heavyweight brands of Apogee, Waves Audio, SE Electronics and Rupert Neve Designs. They will be showing some of the new outboard systems available in 500 format, along with some of their other recording and production solutions. Native Instruments will also be here to demonstrate some of their acclaimed production software and hardware.
