The Atmegatron is a new 8-bit monosynth and the debut product from Soulsby Synthesizers. It's an electronic musician's dream, combining the sounds of 1980s home computers with the flexibility and power of a modern synthesizer. It adds a wide palette of new sounds to any studio setup and is also great for live use.
Features of the synth include: 32 waveforms, 15 digital filter types, 2 ADSR envelopes, 1 LFO with 16 waveforms, an arpeggiator with 15 patterns and loads of fx including phaser, distortion and the unique Wavecrusher. It also comes with 16 preset sounds and unlimited preset expandability via the Atmegatron Librarian software available for Mac or PC.
The Atmegatron is built on the open source Arduino platform. This means that the synthesis engine can be completely changed by uploading software to the synth. One minute it's a monosynth, the next it's a drum machine. Soulsby Synths will be releasing new and completely free software versions over the coming months.
All our stock is sourced from official UK suppliers. We do not sell grey imports. This means that you are fully covered by the manufacturers warranties.
The first thing to do is contact us and let us know. You’ll need to give us as much information as you can on the fault, when it happened and what you've tried to get it working. We’ll do our best to confirm the fault either over the phone or via email and check that nothing's being missed. If it looks like a genuine fault, we’ll give you an authorisation. Number and you can send it back to us.
Once it's back with us, we’ll test it fully to confirm the fault. If it was a new purchase and within 30 days of you buying it, except in rare cases, we will swap it out. Outside of that time, the process will vary depending on the manufacturer and their warranty. We’ll do our best to keep you in the loop as to what to expect and when so you can plan around it.
We've all bought something that wasn't quite right. If you're buying something and you’re not 100% sure, we offer a no quibble return within 14 days. All we ask is that you return it to us in the condition that you received it in. If items are returned incomplete or with damaged packaging we might have to charge a restocking fee.
Software products are all covered by the licensing conditions of the software manufacturer. This means that once the seal has been broken or a download redeemed, we cannot return the item. If you are having problems with it running on your system, we’re here to help and check that you’ve not missed anything but it is normally up to the manufacturer to support you.
